Kronos Quartet create “Sun Rings”, commissioned by NASA and composed by Terry Riley in tribute to the 25th anniversary of the launch of NASA’s Voyager satellite. The piece combines the string quartet, 80 piece chorus, actual recordings of sounds from outer space, and video from the NASA archive.
